All childhood vaccinations are available at the practice. All the doctors encourage parents to have their children vaccinated in line with the accepted (NH&MRC) guidelines. Please let the office staff know when making your appointment if it is for a vaccination. Our practice nurses are qualified as Authorised Immunisation Providers.

You are able to check your child’s immunisation status by phoning 1800 653 0809.

adult vaccinations

The practice provides an immunisation service that includes:

  • Travel
  • Flu
  • Yellow fever, and
  • Employment vaccinations

Your doctor will advise you of the vaccinations required.

Influenza vaccines are available each year. We recommend that everyone over the age of 65 and those with chronic illnesses, such as asthma, diabetes, and heart disease should have a vaccination.

If you wish to have a vaccination you should discuss it with your doctor.

travel vaccinations

Your doctor will advise you of the vaccinations required for travel.

For overseas travel you should generally present at least 6 weeks prior to departure for optimal cover.

Appointments must be made with the doctor to discuss individual needs. Occasionally vaccines are not immediately available, and a short delay may ensue.
